This article says it all for me. HYPERSENSITIVE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM + SENSORY OVERLOAD = a brain that won’t shut off, ever. Along with other physical manifestations. This is one biggee of why I can’t sleep much of the time.
I deal with visual stimulation overload.
My brain just won’t stop when I want it to…. like when I’m trying to sleep. Very frustrating! Hang in there! We will get through it! 🙂
