Personally, I do not have flares. I am in a constant state of pain every single day of the year. I have no down time, no days when there less pain than another, and at no time does my body rest. I know that some people have better days than others. If I exert myself, or do something strenuous, the pain only gets greater. I cannot remember what it is like to be not in pain.
